    Short summary describing this issue.

The issue begins after the elves reach the inner Citadel of the Djun. The How-unds were killed, and so the villagers witness that their leader is not, after all, impeccable. They flee and allow Cutter to be led by Two-Edge straight to the rescue of Rayek, who sleeps inside the SHARDroom with Winnowill and Venka.

Meanwhile some of the insurgence is quelled. Shuna was knocked out and her eye crossed at the end of SHARDs #10.

The Grohmul Djun wishes to make a publick display of her, and a public death-ceremony is help before all the townsfolk. This is where Cutter makes a daring rescue, and all the villagers can see that elves, in fact, do exist. Cutter rescues Shuna, and nearly murders him.

The improbable rescue inspires all the villagers, but the Djun ably defends himself. He begins to walk through the crowded twonsquare, delivering death-blows to the villagers with every breath. During the carnage, Shuna's father has his head sliced off during windup swing from the Djun.
