I don´t think I´ve ever seen the star of it´s own comic book being so humiliated and getting her ass kicked so hard as I´ve seen in this issue - an atempt of showing to Elektra that she´s not a monster, that she isn´t just a machine programmed to kill, Mr. Locke takes her to an old acquaintance of Carson, a martial artist that goes by the name of Drake. Arriving at her dojo (or home) instantly Elektra picks a fight with her and she can´t hit a single punch, kick or attack and she gets stomped by this master, not only physical, but also morally speaking. Elektra learns a hard lesson of humbleness and patience. Joe Benett´s art is pretty fluid, allowing great moves for both fighters and he created a good atmosphere in the dojo - it would deserve a 5 rate, if not for a mistake (a deadly one) in the final pages, where Elektra loses her Sai, but in the next panel it returns to her hand, like she was some kind of Jedi. The dialogues between Elektra and Drake were awesome but I don´t think the story itself was much interesting, this is a long term lesson perhaps, something that will click only in the future, but this was a good issue nonetheless.
