Ever since it was teased that Jamie Foxx would be playing Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, we've all been wondering what exactly he would look like. His yellow and green costume might be cheesy but it's a classic look. Unfortunately it's also one that probably wouldn't translate too well in a live-action movie.

Back in December, Foxx did say his costume wouldn't be green and yellow. And now, thanks to Daily Mail Online, we can get an idea what Electro will look like.

He likely won't be wearing a hoodie in the movie. Foxx also said back in December when describing his look:

"They want to try new things, like a liquid rubber and things like that, and there are all these bolts and stuff in my arms when they are hanging me upside down and trying to figure out what happen."

Foxx was seen Monday in Times Square and we can assume this is just a temporary look until he finds something else to put on. Then again, maybe the hoodie and jeans look is what they'll give him since the green and yellow spandex suit is out (and would look silly).

We'll have to wait until we see actual footage of him in action. The blue look is interesting but there will likely be more electrical FX added in.

he looks like an electric eel/fish man thingy. gotta be honest. not digging it. i think the ultimate look would have been better.

Jamie Foxx looks ICE cool...get it cause he looks like ice :)

Can't say I'm fond of this look. However, he's a competent actor and I have faith in him.

That being said, I was still hoping for a Ultimate Electro look.

Anything is an improvement from the ridiculous green and yellow costume from the comic with the lightning bolt headdress.

I guess they will add more special effects but I´m not too crazy about the look either. If the hoodie and jeans is the final look it will be stupid, but I´m pretty sure its not. Probably just something he wears to hide himself soon after he gets the power. It has been done before.

Seems like it's a base for the second electro form in Ultimate Spidey, this is obviously a pic without any FX an none of the electrical thingiesss. I'd imagine the final product would be awesome looking.

In the top photo it looks like he has a chin prosthetic. This'll probably look much better once they've layered on some digital effects.

He looks like Don Cheadle's Captain Planet.

The movie will most likely be good but I am not feeling this look, I guess I just do not understand why he is blue?

Hulk got to say, that actually looks kind of cool. He look like Mr. Freeze without his armor.

I think people are jumping to the conclusion that this is Electro's default state. Who says they weren't filming scenes in which Electro uses his powers, and they wanted to use some practical make-up to help add to the CGI effects of him releasing the electricity. It's easy to make judgements based on the pictures released, but putting a little thought into it helps a bit.

ive seen other pics he GLOWS this may be when is first transforms.....he will probally look like the ultimate electro with black suit....but Jamie can do wrong good actor

This costume is probably when he first becomes Electro. Probably in the middle of the movie he will have a proper costume. Probably a black biker I bet lol

The pictures of him lit up look dope. I can't wait to see more, especially the rubber suit that Foxx previously mentioned. I wonder how Giamatti's Rhino will turn out.

I kind of like it. Mr Freeze resemblance notwithstanding, it looks good. And that's without special effects too. At least The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will look good. Hopefully Webb will follow up on the other areas too.

I can see this working better if he's got electricity surging through his skin in the movie

and my complete disinterest in this reboot series grows even larger...guess i cant have a good marvel movie unless its actually done BY MARVEL.

I wish they'd gone with the classic look.
