A Really Good Action Film
Surprisingly, this movie was really enjoyable. Perhaps the trailer didn't do it justice or the hype was dull, but I expected a generic sci-fi, robotics-militia movie that just rammed gunfire and CGI effects down my throat. Not at all. The story really drove this movie and Tom Cruise's performance was reminiscent of The Last Samurai. Emily Blunt added spice and depths to the dystopic tale, and I enjoyed watch her and Tom's working chemistry on screen. Kudos. Good movie.
