Eddie Brock bonded with the dark alien symbiote after it was discarded by Spider-Man, becoming the first Venom. Later, Brock became Anti-Venom, but the symbiote was lost during the events of Spider-Island. Brock has also been forcibly bonded to the Toxin Symbiote by the Crime-Master, but has reluctantly given it up to stop Carnage. Recently he has re-bonded with Venom.
Eddie Brock know a weak old man becomes Anti-Venom? rejects the Venom symbiote (which he now hates what the heck) and since I haven't picked up the issues I don'y know if he is a spider-man villain as well any one got an answer or group questions/comments? (p.s I expected it to be the police chief guy from Venom On Trial wouldn't thathave been cool?)

From what is seen he is neutral. He seems to only hate Venom.
he's not really trying to kill gargan he's trying to kill the symbiote because he believes that it is extremely evil and that all his problems came from the symbiote....he teamed up with spidey against gargan but then turned against spidey to get rid of any remains of the symbiote in spidey's blood
o.k that makes sense except that didn't he say all his problems came from spidey and the symbiote was a good thing that happened i.e why the change of heart?
Venom never did because he wanted Spider-man to know he knew and to let him know he had an ace in the hole. Also, it could be something like Norman Osborn who wanted to keep a more personal realtionship between them. Something only they knew.
I love Anti-Venom he is a religious fanatic to his cause, and that is eliminating symbiotes hopefully he go agent Toxin and Spider-Men (this consider probably all the importers those who have similar powers)
Anti-Venom tried "curing" the radiation poisoning from Spidey's blood, he didn't cure it all though. It seems there is some sort of proximity trigger for Spidey now where the eradicated blood goes into hiding, yes it's a stretch, or cloaks itself from Anti-Venom, hence no powers. I'm sure it will be explained soon, if it hasn't already. I'm still on 571, so I'm a few issues back.
the only problem i had with the arc was the end...nothing happened...the only lasting thing from the arc is anti-venom and that turned out to be not that big of a deal.....i think they're setting harry up to be menace and i think the book that was left on the bookshelf would have opened his menace storage area

I suppose for a conclusion it left more questions hanging. There's also the stuff with Aunt May and Mr. Li. Then there's the deal with Lily. I'm more curious about Norman's comment about Harry having died before. I'm waiting for that explanation.
