A son of Limbo Town, Ebeneezer Badde fled his home there on his initiation into the Brotherhood of Witch-men, choosing to live in the subway tunnels below New York City. It is unclear if he is actually Mordecai Bleak and took another name upon leaving Limbo Town, or simply had an affair with Charity Bleak, but he is implicitly the father of Klarion.

Ebeneezer was created by Grant Morrison and Frazer Irving. He made his first appearance in Seven Soldiers: Klarion #2
