Aftermath...
This issue follows up the opening arc which saw Earth two's new Wonders defeat Grundy.
The Good:
This book is all about the exchanges between some of the major characters. We see a couple of very great ones between Alan Scott & Hawkgirl, Terry Sloane & Amar Khan and finally an alliance between Amar Khan & Wesley Dodds. Each one is very well done in it's own way and provides a promise of things to come in the next few months for this series. Robinson writes Terry Sloane as a character you love to hate and a genuine schmuck. As a reader I can't wait for him to get his comeuppance. The artist this month was Yildiray Cinar who was filling in for Nicola Scott. The art didn't miss a beat and was the same quality we're used to from the lovely Ms Scott.
The Bad:
This issue had a real lack of action. There's a small scuffle between Mr. Terrific and the Sandmen but that's it. The Flash is also missing in action. He was my favorite character of the first arc and is really missed in this one.
Thoughts:
This issue is mostly a breather of sorts for the series. The interactions are very well done but its devoid of action. Still a must read for anyone following the series.
