    What is family, loss friendship, and love? These are questions pondered by Dr. Fate bookending Earth 2 #27 "Collision" written by Tom Taylor and new co-writer Marguerite Bennett. These could be taken at face value as faux, or cheap, questions that do not add depth only the appearance. But as Dr. Fate runs through each question with each frame answering them in some way, you realize that these aren’t faux or cheap they are universal questions with both obvious and nuanced answers.I’ve...

    Earth 2 was one of my favourite new comics from 2012, so I was really looking forward to returning to the story. I was not disappointed by this issue, as it features both interesting relationships and complex characters. The art is still super solid throughout the book.I was not fully captured by the story however. It is very difficult for me to understand why, I LOVE Huntress, and her dynamic with both Kara and Batman is great, but when I reached the last page, I wasn't entirely happy. Maybe be...
