    The darkness!! 2

The Good: Nicola art is stunning !!! The interior art alone is worth the purchase, earth -2 issue 2 was a definite set up issue with some "hot topic issue" As you well know Alan is gay but I bet you didn't know he was going to comitt his love? I actually enjoyed the way James set it all up. This had mr .t who's redesign I didn't like before , I think Nicola pulled it off.He meets the world smartest man in this universe and this man terry has bone to pick with mr . Terrific ! The beginning of ...

    Earth 2... 2 0

Blah blah controversy, moving on, lol.THE GOODA great issue to continue from the explosive Earth 2 #1. Though the intro is a little murky, the following parts with Alan and Jay really set up how this world is going to go. The story hitting a lot of good notes, and the art does a great job of making sure everything stands out and looks great. Jay trying out his powers was humorous, and peoples reactions to it in a post-Apokolips invasion world certainly makes me laugh. Alan's portion of the story...

    Flash Beginnings 6

After a month of waiting, we now see the origins of Flash on Earth 2 and the introduction of other important characters. The GoodThe art was beautiful and a pleasant treat to my eyes. We also see how Jay experiments with his powers and his first small experience as a hero. We also the arrival of Mr. Terrific and Hawkgirl 's arrival on Earth 2. Near the end of the issue, we see Alan's possible motivations for becoming Green Lantern. The BadI felt the dialogue was a bit wordy, but since it's Jay's f...

The Messenger of the Gods, and The Light of Tomorrow 1

This series really has a lot to live up to. It's not even just a team series, this is one comic about an entire world. That's a pretty tough task to tackle. But my god it succeeds. We get a lot of scenes set in big cities, where we get to sit back and just absorb the world. Moments and tributes to their only heroes, now fallen. Little nods like 'Tylerchem acquires Waynetech.' Well, Bruce is dead, and Tylerchem = Hourman! Oddly enough we're treated to BOTH Mr. Terrifics, so where that's going to ...

    Not Heroes... Wonders! 0

Loved Earth-2. Terry Sloan vs. Michael Holt? Terrific! The origin of Jay Garrick as The Flash was iconic, and Alan Scott's new angle was handled superbly. Nicola Scott is outdoing herself, fantastic art! Please check my mini-review here:http://bit.ly/Km5f47Comments and feedback are always welcome!...

"Why, What Do You Think, Boy? RUN!" 0

Synopsis   Several years after the death of the Trinity, the destinies of Earth-2's next wave of heroes are about to begin. The Good   Let's start with that cover, it's awesome. I love the look of panic in Jay Garrick's face as he tries to escape those Apokorats! Meanwhile in the issue, I also like the lack of confidence he has and the why after he gains his powers, he doesn't know what to do except run! There's also this awesome panel where he uses his superspeed to save some civilians.   Movin...

    Shut Up Jay 0

We open on a rather unusual note with the Mr. Terrific of the mainstream universe popping up out of a weird tron portal and ending up in Earth 2. This mysterious looking fellow who apparently knew he was coming, even though Mr. Terrific himself did not, confronts him. This guy, named Terry Sloan, claims that Mr. Terrific is a threat to his goals and the two fight. Hmm, I wasn’t expecting the book to start this way, but I am definitely intrigued. I wonder where this is…We’re back with Jay and Mer...

Faster Then a Bullet Train 0

THE GOOD: Nicola Scott, it's good to have to her back and drawing a regular series. She adds so much detail into the pages that you spend a lot of time just looking for cool things in the background. I really like how she draws Jay's speed in this issue because I like seeing him progress like that and not just lighting lines. The story is setting up characters in this issue. We get to see Jay Garrick gain his powers and a really cool stuff with him. We also get to see Alan Scott and his lover, S...

    Earth 2 #2 (DC) 0

Ladies, gentlemen and other species. Welcome back to Earth 2. And boy what a welcome it is!It’s time for a match between Holt and Sloan. “TERRIFIC?” I thought, as I saw them. So basically Earth-1’s Mr. Terrific (this is the point where you go “oh that’s what terrific meant” ) has landed up on Earth-2 by accident, and right there waiting for him is Terry Sloan. The first Mr. Terrific from Earth-1, plain ol’ smartest man here. There's fighting, Sloan...
