After taking part in a spiritic session , some children die in strange circumstances . One of the sitters , Peggy , is convinced that they had freed something terrible and supernatural . She hires the nightmare investigator to shed light on the mystery . The deepest fears and insecurities of the five teenagers come to life to drive them to madness , but the origin of everything might be a reason for murder that has its roots in the unconscious of each one.
