As a character in Dr. Slump and many other Toriyama works, Tori-Bot is often used to represent Akira Toriyama himself in a comedic manner. Tori-Bot is regarded as the Ultimate Ruler of the Dragon Ball World, surpassing the likes of Zeno and the Angels. He also appears in the Blue Dragon Universe as a representative of Toriyama, though is named Toripo.

Vegeta, formerly the Prince of all Saiyans, was previously a supervillain who later evolved into an anti-hero and eventually a hero through the duration of the DragonBall franchise. An exceptional fighting prodigy, Vegeta has trained himself since a young age; and has always had natural talents in martial arts and chi control. He is among the last surviving pure Saiyans from the planet Vegeta. Vegeta's obsession to surpass Goku is among the key traits to his character.
Piccolo is the son/reincarnation of the Namekian Piccolo Daimaō, and was spawned to avenge his sire's death at the hands of Goku. As time went on, he abandoned his ambitions to rule Earth and eventually joined Goku and the Z-Fighters as an ally and a friend. He seems to also share a deep bond with Goku's son Gohan, and appears to be a sort of second father to him. Piccolo has many signature moves such as the Special Beam Cannon, Hellzone Grenade, and Light Grenade.
Android #18 was a cybernetically enhanced by Dr. Gero to aid in his quest to destroy Goku. After the Cell Games she joined the Z-Fighters and married Krillin. She has a daughter named Marron.
Leader of the Ginyu Force and strongest henchman of Frieza
Frieza is an evil alien tyrant from the Dragon Ball Universe, once the ruler of the North Galaxy and responsible for the destruction of the Saiyan homeworld, Vegeta. He has earned a reputation for being very powerful and feared throughout Universe 7. He was greedy and only wanted to rule and live forever. He was eventually defeated by Goku and killed by Trunks. Since being revived twice as Golden Frieza, he has become one of the most powerful beings in the universe and the most recurring villain.
The first son of Goku and Chichi and a half-Human, half-Saiyan, Son Gohan held the potential for enormous power. Growing up a scholar, not a warrior like his father, he nevertheless has answered the call to protect Earth multiple times. He is the most powerful non fused warrior in the Dragon Ball Z universe by the end of Dragon Ball Z series. He is the father of Pan and husband to Videl. He is Goten's older brother and Grandson to both Ox King and Bardock, respectively. (Goku and Chichi's fathers)
Future Trunks is the half-Saiyan, half-Human hybrid son of Vegeta and Bulma. Unlike his present timeline counterpart, Future Trunks grew up in a world that was being terrorized by the androids while most of the Z-fighters were dead. The death of his mentor, Gohan, pushed Trunks to achieve the Super Saiyan transformation and eventually defeat the androids of his time.
Cell is the main villain of the Android's Saga in Dragon Ball. An artificial being created by Dr. Gero, Cell's objective is to become the perfect-ultimate fighter and obliterate all life in the Universe.
