Honestly? Probably Yamcha.
Sometimes, I feel like myself (and similarly Yamcha really) am caught up in places and things that are way out of my league and out of my element. You actively question whether or not it's even worth showing up, knowing you're likely not going to make a difference. Sometimes you do show up. And more often than not, things don't go well for you. Which translates over into more than just your professional world, but it's colliding with your personal one.
I mean, here we have a guy who came pretty far. From a simple bandit, to one of Earth's greatest heroes. And he can't even get the girl he likes to settle down with him, over a jerk like Vegeta, (and let's be honest, by the time Trunks was a thing, Vegeta was very much still, a jerk.) Granted, I would legitimately say, Yamcha kind of dodged a bullet with that relationship, but that's still a blow all the same.
However, much like how I envision Yamcha's future or I should argue present, is that things will work our for him/me and all the crap up until will have been worth it.
So yeah, Yamcha.
