Dragon Ball Universe
Concept » Dragon Ball Universe appears in 185 issues.
The shared universe between some of the works of Akira Toriyama such as Dragonball, Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, Dr Slump, Neko Majin, and other one shot mangas.
What was more ridiculous ?
Broly destroying the Galaxy is so ridiculously inconsistent that these other options aren't even comparable. The others can make sense.
@jloneblackheart: idk
Walking through a blue kamehameha and taking zero damage was kinda wtf
@midnightdragon18: Or maybe SSB isn't quite as powerful as everyone assumes it to be. Especially considering one of your other choices. SSB isn't anywhere near Beerus.
Besides, he wasn't harmed and LSSJ can literally be as powerful as it wants to be and it's the first time it's been seen in canon.

Voted the same
Garlic Jr. being stupid enough to use the only thing that could defeat him after being the first, and only(until Zamasu) villain to actually get immortality.

@queen_marceline: the first or second time lol ?
@queen_marceline: the first or second time lol ?
Both... but more-so the second time, as he should have known better after the first time failed....
@midnightdragon18: Or maybe SSB isn't quite as powerful as everyone assumes it to be.
It isn't. Goku literally said he would raise his ki "a little more".
1. Broly stomping 4 super saiyans and a super Namekian really isn't that bad since he was a new level of ssj
2. Kale walking through a SSB kamehameha even though she basically never trained is the worst imo
3. I thought this was at first, but mainly because SSG was originally presented as 60% of Beerus' power. This is never stated in Super, so SSB being less than 10% Beerus is ok in the anime, but if it was in a movie sequel it would be the worst since it would be a plot hole.
4. Broly attacked a galaxy over time, he didn't one shot it. You can even see how it is dissolving away and not disapearing in one big blast. I take that scene like the King Vegeta scene, it was more of a metaphor that an actual feat.
@alextheboss: What King Vegeta feat? The one where he waved his hands and blew up the planets? How is that a metaphor? lol
@alextheboss: if he destroyed the galaxy over time
He'd be trillions of times ftl
Which would be really ridiculous
@alextheboss: What King Vegeta feat? The one where he waved his hands and blew up the planets? How is that a metaphor? lol
It was talking about how saiyans attacked other planets. However saiyans didn't blow up planets, they killed the inhabitants and sold the planet. That flash back had Vegeta destroy the planets with a wave of his hand and then it had him and Vegeta laughing with fire behind them. The scene was just supposed to show the saiyans are ruthless and destructive, not to mention it was a filler scene.

He didn't destroy the whole galaxy though because the movie took place in the same galaxy didn't it? And they most like traveled by spaceship, and as we know in dragon ball the space ships are MFTL.
@alextheboss: well destroyed a large portion
Same speed
The movie took place in the small portion that wasn't busted
Kale walking through SSB kamehameha was cringeworthy. I nearly stopped watching the episode when I saw that.
Also, SSG was 80% how TF is a SSGSSJ only 10%, if anything it should be stronger than SSG, not weaker.
SSG was 60% and that was only in the BoG movie. In RoF, the sequal to BoG, Whis said if SSB Goku and Vegeta work together they would have a chance against Beerus, so they were probably around 70% of Beerus in SSB. However Super retconned this and a power comparison is never made between them and Beerus. So basically Beerus is just a lot stronger in Super than he was in the movies. It's kind of dumb though since it takes away the meaning of the Beerus vs SSG fight. If he was really going to supress himself that much to make the fight look equal, he might as well just suppressed himself more and fought ssj3 Goku in an even fight.
I can agree with that theory, it makes sense. But I didn't know we were just using anime/manga. My bad

The translation gets messy because the south section of the universe was translated as the "South Galaxy", same with the north. So Broly could destroy a galaxy and still be in the South Galaxy.
@mainjp: Except in the 22th tournament he did not have a god damn transformation. It makes the transformatiom feel less relevant and is just bad writing in general. When you see SSJ Blue you expect ot to be used for top tier character, not freaking Krillin. They never explain SSJ Blue that well, so saying he have his power is all the way down is just basesless statement. Seriously even GT has better grasp of their transformation.
Broly stomping 4 super saiyans and a super piccolo.
1) Don't really see the problem with this, Broly was supposed to be tiers above and was hyped up that way.
Kale walking through a blue kamehameha.
2) Did not like this at all tbh, i would have perfectly been ok with her being hit and being knocked to the ground, only to get up and get more angry, the fact Kale just walked through it was a little much.
SSJB being less than 10% of Beerus.
3) Don't find a problem with this either, Beerus is a GOD after all, he should be that high.
Broly destroying an entire galaxy.
4) I can't really remember the context in how this was shown, could someone remind me, from what i've seen in this thread i can't see him one shotting a galaxy because that would be stupid, but even going through a galaxy over time is a fairly big stretch in itself.
@djudgment: either way 4 is crazy tbh
either he one shot it or went trillions of times ftl

He didn't one-shot it, however, if didn't do it overtime, it was stated a SSJ destroyed the galaxy, and that SSJ was confirmed to be RSSJ Broly.
Not really crazy honestly, Hatchiyack and Bojack did something similar, and Janemba did something way better.

I agree its the most far fetched out of the options, and just does not make any sense either way you look at it.
Even trying to justify it will end up with some sort of inconsistency.

I only find the 10 percent usage ridiculous because it should be lower. Having the main characters so close to the gods brings about so many problems. Especially with the recent crap with Beerus being the strongest GoD. Now scaling will be all over the place with all these different characters in the TOP that are in SSB's general ball park(Android 17, Gohan, Frieza, Toppo, and so forth) now we hear shit like "oh that character is god level" when Akira himself specifically mentioned that the gods aren't getting surpassed any time soon. I wish Beerus treated Goku as fodder during DBS and BOG regardless of his powerup, that would have left so much room for scaling other characters and so much room for additional arcs like Majinn Buu or Cell/Android sagas. Now as soon as someone keeps up with Goku we are going to hear the label "god" or "universal" and it quite frankly pisses me off.
