With half a dozen threads popping up due to DBS, I think it would be better to condense into one main one, which would be this!
Discuss anything you want concerning the anime and manga, as long as it doesn't break the usual rules.
Can't wait until Funimation gets the right and start dubbing the series. I am just not a fan of the DBZ Japanese voice actor, no disrespect to them. Many people love them, and see them as iconic, but is hard to go from dub to sub and expect it to sound natural.
Also it would had been nice if the comedy was similar to one punch man, where the comedy comes from them being overpower, bc nobody was remotely concern about the snake fight, not one person. I mean Arale did a good job with that overpower comedy style, and it be nice if DB does this more. Although Vegeta in any normal scenario is going to be hilarious.
I just can't wait to see what plot develop and start seeing the stupid senseless show that I grew up to love so much. Overall it was a decent first episode that makes me want to watch the entire Dragon Ball z series again.......Actually I am going to that right now even including the buu saga, and maybe GT......Actually no fuck Season one of GT.
More info on beerus speed
looking at beerus feat it actually is pretty impressive since the planet He went behind was actually a gas giant (it looks just alot like jupiter)
Doing some research the average distance jupiter is to earth is 747 million km and seeing that Beerus went behind it in about 5 seconds give or take that would actually make him
539.77 times faster than the speed of light
@flashback0180: There's no way that's 150x light speed if he's still that close. It takes light roughly 1.25 seconds to reach the moon from Earth. Here is how far that is:
, DBZ has never shown any moons apart from our moon. Do you have any evidence that says its a moon.
You are using biased logic, I can just as easily be biased and say that planet is big as Jupiter and has 100x gravity.
I gave the estimation from a real world calculation.
The distance between earth and Mars is
closest = 54.6milliion kilometres
average = 225 million kilometres
furthest = 401 million kilometres.
Since the chances of it being the closest and the furthest are unpractical, we'll use the average. So using a real world estimation he travelled 225 000 000 km in 4* seconds. That means he was crossing 56, 250, 000 km per second . Light travellers 299,792 km per second.
Let's not try to calculate how fast.He's fast enough to travel planet to planet in a second thats it.
New episode names leaked.Looks like they really retelling BoG and RoF but I didn't expect these episodes coming this soon.
Names of episodes
Dragon Ball Super Episode 2 : Vegeta's Family Trip
Dragon Ball Super Episode 3 : Look for the Super Saiyan God
Dragon Ball Super Episode 4 : Mission: Dragonballs! Pilaf Gangs big plan!
Dragon Ball Super Episode 5 : Goku vs God Of Destruction Birus!
@racob7: it's the distance between two planets not a planet and it's satellite , Which you used. How it look is irrelevant, it's fiction if we talk about being realistic , the planet should look like a speck in space. Based on my calculations he's mftl.
