The manga is legues worse than the anime. Roshi gets to dodge JIREN but Krillin and Tenshinhan get oneshotted at the start of the tournament.

Roshi, the guy who retired to let the younger generation take over. The guy who, by his own admission, couldn’t keep up with the Z-Senshi anymore. Now he’s getting super wanked and the fans of Krillin, Tenshinhan and Yamcha just get to eat shit lol.

It's implied that Roshi ultra instinct. Having Ultra instinct isn't tied to a power level just the mastery of your movements so that's the only way i can buy Roshi dodging Jiren

Unless it functions like Toriko's Food Honor, in which all the energy generated by removing all wasteful movements from oneself is used to drastically increase their own stats

The creator of the Manga should learn something more about common sense.
