It's something I was curious about, with all the scaling after the Namek Arc, how fast would these characters be? I was curious because of a recent CAV I started and also a CAV I wanted to do in the future with the Human Z-Fighters vs Invincible

Best feat would be Yamcha and Saibaman disappearing from thin air while fightning. Kurilin travel speed wise on Namek after the power up would be in hs range.

It's hard to accurately pinpoint their combat and reaction speed. They should definitely be in the hypersonic range when it comes to travel speed, however.

massively hypersonic. Goku with a power level of 8,000 had an average flight speed of around mach 30, so prime Krillin and Tien should at least be able to go that speed. Not sure about Yamcha.

Yes

This is just plot, doesn't change the speed feat in anywyas.

This is the only thing you could argue. But still Goku's power level was 8,000 here. Krillin was confirmed over 10,000 on Namek, so even if the distance was shorter due to the curves prime Kirllin should be able to have an average speed of mach 30 if he traveled over snake way. also not to mention mach 30 would of been Goku's average speed, not his max speed.

None of this would of changed his average speed. He was trying to go as fast as he could. If anything those things would just be reason to think his max speed is even higher.

Hard to really say, since they're all coming back into action in Super(because Super's scaling isn't exactly up to par). Part of me wants to say someone like Tien or Krillin should be near, if not, FTL.... but they really dropped off after DB and the feats they do have in DBZ are minor and questionable.

@queen_marceline: How would they be FTL if not even android saga Goku is FTL? There aren't even any FTL feats in the Buu saga. Gotenks has a relativistic feat though.

No way to tell how much they improved after frieza saga. Massively hipersonic for Krillin during Frieza Saga.

AT LEAST 400 QUADRILLION times FTL due to powerscaling and feats.

Anywhere from low to high hypersonic, higher in short bursts and combat. You could argue reacting to super buus planet extermination attack which If I remember correctly tien did, then really high hypersonic with reactions for him at least.

But I bet super will give them some FTL feats with no explanation and I'm totally cool with that lol

The only definitive non arguable ftl speed starts at majin buu (flying around blowing planets in random galaxies) a lot of people scale off him in the buu saga but ehh wouldn't debate for it.

Then in super you got beerus and whis and whatever scaling from that you can do lol

They should be Hypersonic in terms of travel speed, Combat speed it's difficult to say however from what we have seen they should reach speeds of relativistic + in short bursts when going full power but normally should be massively Hypersonic.

@skrskr: kid Buu used instant transmission to go from planet to planet, and if you are talking about when he was with Bibidi, then he most like traveled on Bibidi's mftl space ship.

High Hypersonic to quite possibly Near Light Speed.

Krillin was almost as fast as a normal Ki blast, in a weaker version, in short distance ( combat speed ).

a blink of an eye, to those people, is without any doubts an incredibly small amount of time.

So i'd say he's around half the speed of light by now.

Krillin and Gohan also outran Recoome's Eraser Gun, even though they didn't move until after it was fired. They were also a good distance away from Recoome and Vegeta:

Ki blasts don't seem to be consistent enough to scale from, and there's really no telling how fast they were moving. All we can be sure of is that Krillin's travel speed is nowhere close to the speed of light, as he needs about 2 hours to fly from Freeza's ship to Guru's and back.
