The closest to Beerus is Goku / Frieza / Vegeta.

They are still leagues behind, it wouldn't take long for Beerus to wipe out the Universe.

@mainjp: Yup right. Now actually Beerus is no threat to U7 if they know in advance that he is coming to destroy earth. Goku will just do Instant transmission to Supreme kai and just kill him and get beerus dead before he reaches to earth.

I'll wait until the tournament finishes before I make my decision in this.

Everyone below Goku/Vegeta/Frieza are one-shotted effortlessly.

Then Beerus goes full power (which we still haven't seen as of yet), and annihilates those three as well. Wouldn't even be close.

Now, if Goku and Vegeta get to fuse, then it's another question entirely.....they have a chance with SSB Vegito. Frieza is a non-factor though; that's just how powerful Beerus is.

@watertaco: Dude Buu can turn Beerus into a cookie. That should take him out.

Oh please. We know that characters in this series can resist hax techniques if they're sufficiently strong enough (for example, I see no reason why Buu's candy beam is better than Hakai, which Frieza resisted a portion of).

And even if Buu could turn Beerus into candy, Beerus is never getting hit by the beam anyway. Beerus dances around Buu, taunting him as he tries in vain to hit him with the candy beam.

The last time Beerus and Buu fought, Beerus tanked every punch Buu hit him with, and then proceeded to twirl him around like a rope.

Vegito would be there best chance definitely, but even then i can't see Vegito defeating Beerus within an hour and it actually would be quicker as the amount of power and energy output Vegito would use, id say at the most half an hour topps. Beerus isn't getting beating within that time.

@watertaco: You make some good points there however there is always the Dragon Balls. Heroes could use the Dragon Balls to their advantage.

If Beerus was full power I see Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza being one shotted as well.

@sam90a: Goku wouldn't murder someone unless he he was forced to in combat. He had the chance to kill Vegeta, Freeza and Dr. Gero, but decided to spare them, knowing there was a very real possibility that it would mean the end of Earth and countless other planets.

They would have to kill Supreme Kai or they have 4 weeks to train in the time chamber. This gives them years of extra training. They could do it.

Universe 7 can pull a win here if they really want to. 6 weeks is a lot of time to prepare for a foe they almost have full knowledge on.

• They can train in the ROSAT.
• Elder Kai can unleash everyone's potential
• They can all learn how to do the evil containment wave " Mafuba "
• If absolutely needed, They can turn every saiyan into a SSG by ritual and borrow the potara rings to fuse
• SSG Gotenks and complete SSB Vegeto,or Vegeto SSBKK, can pull the win in my opinion
• the dragon balls are gathered only to bring yamacha back to life after he dies
• Namek dragonballs can be used to bring frieza back to help them
• and if all of this is useless Because beerus might have more than what he already showed, Then Shin would probably kill himself or frieza would kill him.

And we have no idea how strong Goku will be after the tournament.

After this arc Goku is probably gonna solo, especialy with this new silver form. He was already hinted to be around low GoDs like Champa in Blue alone.

Champa easily destroy Goku, dude. I doubt that Goku will surpass Beerus in this arc, that gap is too crazy. We need to see a rematch.
