    Dr. Light & Dr. Wily

A master of robotics, Dr.Wily was the partner of Dr. Light, betrayed him in order to attempt to conquer the world. He took control of their greatest collaboration - the original eight Robot Masters - and sent them off toward his goal of world domination. His diabolical plan was foiled by Dr.Light's creation, Mega Man, who he adapted to become a fighting robot.

Wily would continue to try and dominate the world and get his revenge on Dr. Light and Mega Man for his disgrace and defeat.

After being foiled and the original Robot Masters being taken back by Dr. Light, Wily constructed a new fortress and created eight Robot Masters of his own, improving and making them more deadly than the originals. He again set forth his plans for world domination, only do be defeated once again by Mega Man.

Wily would choose to reform, or at least pretend he did while working once again with Dr. Light. He secretly created new Robot Masters to steal their current project. Once retrieved by Mega Man, Wily again stole them himself and again set his path toward world domination. He was again foiled by Mega Man and seemingly perished under the rubble of his newest fortress.

But Wily had not died and kidnapped the daughter of another robotics scientist Dr. Cossack. In order for his daughters return, Cossack was forced to use his Robot Masters against Dr. Light and Mega Man. Cossack's daughter would be freed by Proto Man, and only then did Wily reveal himself. But again, he was defeated but managed to escape.

But Wily had developed another set of Robot Masters and attacked again not two months later. He also created Dark Man, a copy of Proto Man, to lead the attack and kidnap Dr. Light. In the end, Mega Man would discover this ruse when the real Proto Man arrived. Wily was again defeated and forced to retreat.

For Wily's next plot, he chose the guise of "Mr. X" and hosted a Robot Masters Tournament. He attacked with his newest eight Robot Masters and was once again defeated by Mega Man. Wily was captured and sent to prison.

But Wily was not without a contingency plan. He had created four new Robot Masters that were to activate within six months of loss of communication. He had also created something special. In order to properly combat Mega Man, he developed his own well-rounded fighting robot to rival him - Bass. He used Bass to befriend Mega Man only to steal technology from Dr. Light. In the end, Wily and Bass were defeated but escaped.

Wily soon became aware of a mysterious power source called Evil Energy. He used this energy to create new Robot Masters. This attracted the attention of a space robot named Duo. With Mega Man's help, the Evil Energy was destroyed and WIly once again defeated.

Once again, Wily would attack Dr. Light and Mega Man by reprogramming his new Robot Masters. He convinced the robots to join his side when they learned they were to be recycled. Mega Man and Proto Man are able to defeat Wily again, but allow him to escape yet again as well.

In his next attempt, Wily would try to command all the robots of the world by creating a virus known as Roboenza. Even Mega Man catches the virus, but manages to fight for a cure. Wily, who was sick himself, is defeated and taken to the hospital, from which he escapes.

Later in life, Wily would build the most advanced robot he ever achieved - Zero. Wily believed him to be his masterpiece, but the robot proved to not follow orders well. Wily never used Zero against Mega Man as intended. After being foiled and the original Robot Masters being taken back by Dr. Light, Wily constructed a new fortress and created eight Robot Masters of his own, improving and making them more deadly than the originals. He again set forth his plans for world domination, only do be defeated once again by Mega Man.

Wily's origin is very much like his video game version. He was originally Dr. Light's assistant until he turned his back on the world. In the first episode it is revealed Wily leaves Light after their test of their prototype humanoid robot failed. Wily believed that Light sabotaged his work to steal all the credit. Wily eventual steals the prototype and later reprograms Dr. Light's robots to be his servants, including Rock and Roll(they escape from his control though). Wily continually tries to take over the world only to stopped by Mega Man. Dr. Wily is voiced by Scott McNeil.
