    Dr. Stephen Strange, acted out by Peter Hooten and referred to as a likable psychiatry resident in Philip DeGuere Jr.'s script, is a far cry, in this made-for-television motion picture, from the initially arrogant veteran neurosurgeon with injured hands whom Stan Lee described.
