Yeah but still being unknown then put on the film makes him even better. Alot of people didn't know about sandman. But either way he'd be good.

That's because he's dead (probably). As he should be. I wouldn't want him in the movie because they'd go all CGI and it would look terrible. Plus, they might try to give him dialogue. Also, how would they go about his origin? He'd feel pretty superfluous as a second villain, look at Spider-Man 3.

Exactly. Toooo much CGI. See: Spider-Man 3. He's a pretty useless character, with no real depth, and would be excess in the fourth movie. Hell, I'd cut him out just to get the budget down. It's not like he's a big draw. I'd rather see someone like Kraven who they can pull off without defaulting to CGI. If Carnage is in the next movie, Venom probably will be too. If they continue the trend they have going, eventually the movies will be completely CG. Don't get me wrong, I loved Iron Man and Transformers, and the special effects are amazing and very well done, but it's nice to see some actual acting from actual actors from time to time, you know?

It could work. It "worked" for Spider-Man 3. That doesn't mean it won't be absolute garbage.

They should either use Carnage or re-use Venom instead...

He should appear only if they were to use Carnage.  I dont see him appearing in this movie, either doppler or Carnage.  They need to reset the ground rules and re-establish a few things.  If there is a 5th movie installment, I think all systems go on Carnage.  There is a lot of ground to cover since the partial failure of Spiderman 3. 

His real origin wouldn't work because that would be a movie in itself but it would be cool to have an opening scene that has news footage of Dop creating chaos in the city because it's trying to find and free it's "mother" Shriek from a prison/asylum while the news (Jameson) blames Spider Man.

I agree. I'd enjoy seeing Dopp as Carnage's sidekick/cannonfodder

There needs to be a live action Maximun Carnage, then he can be featured. Or Doppelganger runs around doing crimes, being mistook for Spiderman, now Spiderman must track down his clone.
