    stop the madness! why did they kill him even when they knew his abillity, someday this guy will comeback too powerfull for anyone on earth to handle. 
    why didn't they just look for a way to trap him somehow, instead of killing him, how come nobody ever thought of this before.

    The fear of Doomsday probably made them irrational. They just wanted to be rid of him, and the only way they could do this (In their mind at least) was to kill him
