    First of all I would like to say that this is my first time reading Doom Patrol, I have never before read any of the old Doom Patrol Comics. We are introduced to Casey Brinke, the main character on this issue very early on, she is an EMT (ambulance driver). The first impression that I got was that she's wanting to do the best at her job, and a sense of being loss also. Samuel her partner seems like and ordinary guy trying to get by.
