On two separate occasions they fought against the X-Men. In their first battle they mortally wounded both Archangel and Husk and the only thing that saved both the mutants was Archangel's blood. The Dominant Species also fought the Exiles and would've killed Morph if not for his mutant power enabling him to survive being torn apart.
