Originally released in Japan as DOGS, this has been relabeled in the US as DOGS: Prelude volume 0, as an introduction to the ongoing series DOGS: BULLETS & CARNAGE. The series was originally printed in the Japanese manga anthology magazine, ULTRA JUMP between 2000 and 2001.
