Unlike previous specials, this publication had no articles or features, but instead reprinted past stories from Doctor Who Weekly and Doctor Who Monthly with a new illustrated text story providing a linking narrative.
Catalogue of Events sees the Doctor discover a Time Lord facility, the Events Library, where events (actual pieces of reality), rather than stories, are stored, and he is shown one of his own past adventures, Junkyard Demon (from Doctor Who Monthly #58-59), and the tale of Abslom Daak, Dalek Killer (from Doctor Who Weekly #17-22).
