London, 1814. The entire city has turned out for the biggest Frost Fair in decades. But beneath the frozen Thames, revellers are disappearing, snatched through the ice and pulled into the depths where a terrifying monster lurks. An outstanding episode technically and a great episode for the characters 0

This was, without a doubt, my favourite episode of the season so far. To begin, the acting was phenomenal. Peter Capaldi’s Doctor and Pearl Mackie’s Bill have astounding chemistry and screen presence, both profiting from each other’s dynamic in some magnificent cycle of ever increasing talent.
