    We find Dr. Strange in the office of the Night Nurse, the caregiver to the hero types in Manhattan.  He's been shot by a thief named Brigand.  Brigand was attempting to steal a concoction from Dr. Strange's house and shot the good doctor.  Now, how he could shoot the sorcerer supreme, you'll have to read for yourself. The stolen article is given to an unseen "boss".   Wong has been diagnosed with a brain cancer and Dr. Strange has been trying to find a cure for it.  This is what Brigand was afte...
