It's really great for the votes. I wonder if anyone could explain their votes from a standpoint.

I would actually like for spectacle aspect of the movie to be toned down spectacle and more character focus for the finale in Strange's trilogy.

Just have him and his returning supporting cast plus a new villain

@lordtwigo: I totally agree about the new villain. I was really hoping Nightmare would be the avatar or familiar of the Darkhold who was teaching Wanda about Dream Walking and the Sleepwalkers would be involved.

I suppose they can reserve Nightmare and Umar for a Defenders movie because they both have had run ins with Hulk.

None. The answer is three-eyed Dr. Strange.

He is probably referring to how the recent Dr Strange sequel revolved around Scarlet Witch, who has had interactions with Strange in the comics, but is not a character that's really affiliated with him, and America Chavez, who has had nothing to do with Dr Strange.

@cattlebattle: I suppose Raimi wanted to come up with a way to explore the Multiverse in a simple way without making it complicated which is why they used America Chavez. Her exposure at Kamar Taj will be relevant when she forms the Young Avengers. As for Scarlet Witch, I guess the MCU felt her bitter struggle had to come to an end somehow. I'm hoping in the future another Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver will be present when the X-Men come into the fold.

Does anyone think the Hood should be a vessel for Dormammu to escape the Dark Dimension? Would we want humanize the Hood as they have in the comics so he sticks around in the MCU or just kill off just as fast like they did with Ronan or Malekith. Another untapped foe from Dr. Strange's rogue gallery is Astrid Mordo, Mordo's niece. Should she join her uncle or be a vessel for Umar?

@ravenvice01: MCU already has Defenders - Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. Not exactly a proper supporting cast for Doctor Strange movie.

@kairan1979: I developed a list to separate the two teams. It's called Defenders from Fear Itself: the primary villain is Nightmare.
