In his lifetime as Eric, he was a strange ten-year-old who was chosen as the next agent of the Lords of Order under Nabu and gifted the ability to become the second Doctor Fate alongisde his partner and step-mother, Linda Strauss, inheriting the legacy of the premier, heroic sorcerer ofthe DC Universe.
