We've heard the rumor and saw the achievements listing Nightwing in Batman: Arkham City. There was even some screen grabs from an apparent alpha version. Today, Warner Bros. Interactive and DC Entertainment make it official.

There's good news and bad news about it.

The Nightwing Bundle Pack for Batman: Arkham City will be available November 1. Nightwing comes complete with his own unique gadgets and special moves, and is playable in all challenge maps in the game, as well as two additional challenge maps that are included with the pack: Wayne Manor and Main Hall. The pack also contains a bonus Animated Series Nightwing character skin.

That means you don't have to worry about pre-ordering or it being exclusive to any counsels or stores. You'll just have to pay for it, which isn't too bad. Get it if you want it.

Robin will also be available if you chose not to pre-order through Best Buy. Robin will be available on November 22 to all owners of the game.

Both download content bundles will be offered on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for 560 Microsoft Points and PlayStation®Network for $6.99.

Does anyone know how to get the Batman Beyond skin?

They should enable all characthers for free roam thug beating. Not just on the challange maps, they dont really interest me much.

@Arkham J: we do have damian. he comes with the best buy pack i think. and im sure theyll release a jason pack, im sure the creators know that red hood is a popular character..although i could care less. i think itd be more awesome to have a bad guy budle where you can play as the bad guys in the game for the challenge maps X)

Yes, Damian please.  That way I can have him enter a room full of thugs, leave the controller on the floor, and enjoy a bag of chips while they pummel him to death. ^_^

Man, he looks so cool. Probably the best looking character in the game.

no Damian....Tim's costume does have a hood on it but it's still Tim

too bad about the alternate costume though. i would have preferred  his current,classic,original to the blocky mullet costume.

It could be Squirrel Girl riding Rocket Raccoon and I still wouldn't bother since I could give a damn about the "challenge maps." Make them playable in the REAL game or don't bother at all.
