    A japanese anime adaptation of Go Nagai's classic manga Devilman. It was directed by Masaaki Yuasa and premiered on Netflix on January 5th, 2018. It follows the story of Akira Fudo, a young boy who is informed by his best friend Ryo Asuka about the existence of demons. Akira is then possessed by a demon after taken to a party by Ryo, and using his newfound powers he becomes the hero "Devilman", a man with the body of a devil and the heart of a human.

    With demons reawakened and humanity in turmoil, a sensitive demon-boy is led into a brutal, degenerate war against evil by his mysterious friend, Ryo.
