For the Constructicon Escavator from TF: RotF see Demolishor

Demolishor was originally planned to be called Scourge, in order make a reference to the Generation One trio of Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge. However this idea was dropped and Demolishor was given his current name. Unlike most Transformers: Armada characters, Demolishor didn’t share his name with any existing Transformer character.

    Character Evolution

Demolishor like many Transformers: Armada characters eventually got a Powerlinx mode. According to Aaron Archer, Demolishor’s Powerlinx form was originally going have a colour scheme similar to Generation one character Sixshot, due to his gun hands, even though Sixshot doesn’t have gun hands.

Demolishor returned in Transformers: Energon, sporting a new alternative mode. Instead of is original missile tank mode, Demolishor now transformed into a Dump Truck. In the Transformers: Energon, cartoon, Demolisher bashed his chest like a gorilla and made monkey noises.

Demolishor returned in the Transformers: Cybertron toy line, even though he doesn’t appear in the cartoon. His toy is a repaint of his Armada toy but remodelled to work with the Cyber Planet Keys instead of a Minicon.

While Cliffjumper was overseeing the boarding of the Nemesis, Demolishor boarded the ship. Cliffjumper was already suspicious of almost all the Decepticons, and he didn't recognize Demolishor. The Decepticon remarked that perhaps the Autobot didn't know everyone from his home universe. When asked why he was joining the crew, Demolishor responded that, while busting up Optimus Prime's soldiers was a bonus, he really just wanted to get off Cybertron. Cliffjumper decided he couldn't argue with that, and let the Decepticon through.

When Sephie Beller had herself augmented with Cybertronian technology, Demolishor reflected that it was about time the humans did something to fight back against the Autobots. Sephie later attempted to take on the Autobots on her own, and Demolishor was on the team that went to help her. They were promptly surrounded and captured by the Autobots, but before they could all be terminated, R.J. Blackrock arrived in his Centurion mech and attacked the Autobots as well. They were subsequently saved by Sephie and her enhancements.

Later, Demolishor met with Jetstorm and Side Burn to discuss future plans. Jetstorm was concerned about Cliffjumper's suspicions of Demolishor, and about the Dinobots.

    Transformers: Armada

Demolishor served as Megatron’s right-hand man and military advisor, though Starscream constantly battled him for this role. Demolishor later lost his position when Thrust arrived. Demolishor was extremely loyal to Megatron no matter what position he was in and followed his leader in many battles. Prior to the battle against Unicron, Demolishor was one of the many Transformers injured by Nemesis Prime, but was reformatted by the Minicons’ Powerlinx energy. While he took part in the final battle against Unicron, Demolishor didn’t play a huge role in the battle.

    Transformers: Energon

Following the defeat on Unicron and the death of Megatron/Galvatron, Demolishor settled into the new peace often acting as security. Demolishor became conflicted between his new love of peace and his loyalty to Megatron, when both Scorponok and Cyclonus claimed that Megatron was alive. When Megatron did indeed return, Demolishor caved in to Megatron’s taunts and rejoined the Decepticons. Despite this he tried his best to prevent humans from getting hurt.

When the Decepticons attacked the Autobot/Human ship; the Miranda 2, Demolishor was destroyed when he saved Megatron from the Miranda 2’s devastating Energon shield. For reasons unknown Demolishor blamed Optimus Prime for his death. Megatron managed to salvage Demolishor’s spark and created a new body for him, at the same time erasing all of Demolishor’s memories and reverting him to his original loyal self. A side effect however made Demolishor dumber than before and he began to act like a gorilla on occasions by beating his chest and making monkey noises.

When Megatron/Galvatron sacrificed himself to stop Unicron, Demolishor and Snowcat; the reformatted Cyclonus; did not follow Mirage’s example and go into the newly formed sun.
