    The Avengers and X-Men both easily have dozens of version of their team such as:

    Avengers

    New Avengers

    Mighty Avengers

    West Coast Avengers

    Great Lakes Avengers

    Dark Avengers

    Uncanny Avengers

    Secret Avengers

    X-Men

    Uncanny X-Men

    Astonishing X-Men

    X-Factor

    X-Force

    And so on.

    How about the Defenders?

    I think there's been Defenders, New Defenders, Secret Defenders and Fearless Defenders.

    That's not nearly as many as Avengers and X-Men.

    I think Marvel needs to bring the Defenders back and make dozens of spin-off series.

    Well I'm pretty sure the Defenders will be back for the netflix shows.
