Who would Will Smith play? I dont see how he would be Boomerang..I expected Hardy to be Boomerang and I figured Smith was gonna be Deadshot.

I haven't really seen Jai in much so don't have much of an opinion on him, hopefully he can do a good job.

Smith as Boomerang has shocked me and I'm not too sure about it.

Will Smith as Captain Boomerang? You might as well cast Kevin Smith as Captain Boomerang! Tom Hardy as Rick Flagg doesn't sound quite as bad as the news sounded before he was "just up for a role". I've never seen Jai Courtney in anything, so his acting chops are unknown to me, but from the look alone I'd say he could pull it off. I just hope they do some form of the helmet this time, instead of just the eyepiece or a cowl. At least do what they did in Arkham Origins.

He was the only good part about the last Die Hard movie (not that that is saying much,...)

5 wasn't bad. 4 was worse, justin long/Kevin smith, the cliches like "Old guy behind times with spunky teenage computer wizz", The fact that they had to make a whole movie about computer take overs to bring an old action series into the 21 century. The needlessly over the topness, etc. 5 had a lot less cringe worthy moments.

I never said 4 was good.

I haven't seen him in a ton of stuff, but he's been pretty terrible in all of it. Who knows, maybe an ensemble will help him be better though.

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE DC! for the love of god, please don't cast joker in this movie. Don't blow away the opportunity to make lesser known characters popular (GotG showed us how well this can work), and tarnish your most infamous and most mysterious character.

I only know him as John McClane jr. in the last Die Hard movie, and that is not a good thing. Maybe it was the script in that case, though. lol

I don't think I've ever disagreed with anything more in my entire life. 5 was one of the worst actions movies of all time. Less cringe worthy moments?! Running around Russia like an old man with dementia along with his wooden idiot son calling him "John" all the time in a need to force tension between them. How was Live Free, which actually reinvigorated the franchise, needlessly over the top when McClaine literally spent the entirety of of Good Day slamming into things with no consequence and acting like he had mental issues? The worst dialogue and plot of all the Die Hard movies combined with Jai Courtney's wooden, stilted charisma-less acting killed the franchise for good.

    1. I don't think I've ever disagreed with anything more in my entire life.
    2. 5 was one of the worst actions movies of all time.
    3. Less cringe worthy moments?!
    4. Running around Russia like an old man with dementia
    5. along with his wooden idiot son calling him "John" all the time in a need to force tension between them.
    6. How was Live Free, which actually reinvigorated the franchise, needlessly over the top
    7. when McClaine literally spent the entirety of of Good Day slamming into things with no consequence
    8. and acting like he had mental issues?
    9. The worst dialogue and plot of all the Die Hard movies combined with Jai Courtney's wooden, stilted charisma-less acting killed the franchise for good.

    1. And I care?

    2. That's obviously your own opinion.

    3. Yes, by a long long shot.

    4. John McClane has been running around like maniac since Christmas Even 1988, you expect him to act any differently?

    5. His daughter pulled the same crap in 4, with her last name.

6: He took down a helicopter with a car, he took down a military plane with a semitruck and an interstate bridge, etc.

    7. Again 4 was worse, he rolled out of a car going like 90mph into an suv and got right up.

    8. Please, give an actual example.

    9. Ha! this just shows how wrong you are considering they are making a 6th one.

I'm fine with Courtney as Deadshot.

That Smith for Captain Boomerang rumor just makes me laugh. Either their source is high as f##k or the people over at WB are.

Smith for Flag if anything, Captain Boomerang is just stupid.
