The Deadpool Movie Trailer has Arrived!
@lmothander: Ajax

The one in 2:07 of the Red Band trailer? I think it could Adam X-treme because of the blond hair and the scythe-like weapons.
It's been a long time since I felt the need to watch a movie as soon as it premiered. This movie will change that. Whoo! Blind Al! Great to see her!
@monarch_chronicle: hahahahahaha
Deadpool has never been rated R in the comics...........and is also super lame. I guess some people are all about repetitive jokes (chimichangas and tacos and whatever the hell else Deadpool says thats unfunny). Just no substance to this character. ALSO you can't steal from Rick and Morty.
What did the trailer steal from a show that came out in 2013? Because I'm pretty certain they started writing the script in 2010.
And if you think the character has no substance, I strongly recommend reading arcs like The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
Marketing stole the song. And I read Uncanny X-Force and got the fill I need. I'm not going to spend time/money on more deadpool
I don't love Deadpool, but dammit, I'm gonna see this movie. Colossus was awesome, and just...yeah, this movie might just make me like Deadpool. Testicle with teeth, yes.

Wait so once a movie or TV show uses a song, it can't be used any more? And you think Rick and Morty was the first to use X Gon' Give It To Ya?

By that logic, the writers of that show saw the above trailer and one day decided to make a scene influenced by it. Look, I can understand thinking the people behind the Deadpool trailer may have taken the idea from that show, but to say it like it's a fact is a different story. It was a popular song at one point, as was Shoop, which is featured just before DMX's song is used - they're obviously going for "old school and fun" after the more somber intro. Is there a chance someone in marketing likes the show and copied the idea? Yes, there is. Is there also a chance it's purely a coincidence? Absolutely.

Take it a step further K4tz. Is it alllllso possible that someone over in Marketing knows that Deadpool is a part of the Weapon X program? They may even say it in the movie. So i would say the song is incredibly appropriate for this trailer.
Fox Marvel> Kiddie Disney Marvel
Now I'm going to precede to touch myself!
Fox has borderline committed crimes with the stuff they have done. This movie looks like it MIGHT be good but you are really comparing FoxMarvelverse to MCU? The same FoxMarvelverse with like 2 good movies out of 10?
I can understand being a Stan or a Hater but please use some facts and logic when communicating with others.

Yes that song was in a trailer TWELVE YEARS AGO. Rick and Morty brought it back.
@inferiorego: I wasn't excited about this movie before but I have to say that the red band trailer changed my mind.
And damn, all the characters look great!
8 taco unicorns. If for no other reason than I'm considerably more interested in this movie now than before.
@kevinwalsh: If you say so. Enjoy being confident they stole Rick and Morty's idea instead of simply suspecting it. Please let me know when you find out where they stole Shoop from as well ;)
@edblank: Deadpool looks like it'll be great. The X-men movies have been great since The first Wolverine movie. I'm enjoying their films more than the Disney Marvel films. The great Disney Makes more clunkers than stans like you like to admit. IM2,IM3, Thor 1 and 2, AOU, I really didn't like the first Captain America movie but Winter Soldier was awesome, IM1 was a good film, GOTG was fun but falls short on second view for me... The way Disney Makes these films, with their kiddie humor never holds up for repeated viewings for me, that's why The Avengers is real weak on the repeat viewing.
Awesome.
@k4tzm4n: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #hatersgonnahate ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Finally, a known, bigger anticipated Rated R(or one in general lol) film from Marvel! Didn't think it was possible!! lol
I love it but if I had to nitpick I would say the music, sounds too good and fitting for an action movie, this is Deadpool I would have thought they would have went for something weird and not fitting like cheery pop music, country or Weird Al lol.
@kevinwalsh: deadpool, the lord of the trolls, admires your attempt to troll him. Carry on
@kevinwalsh: i read the script cause I feared it would never become an actual movie. And yes "x gonna give it to you" was in the 2010 edition. I won't say much more because the script and what I'm seeing is basically still the leaked version with some tweaks here and there. In conclusion this film will be awesome and it won't just be rap...I guaran-damn-tee it
@murderpool: Not trolling, deadpool is legit the worst.
when this movie comes out I'm gonna watch it 3 times then another time then another 4 just for luck then gonna but it on blu ray and dvd then buy another tv and watch both discs at the same time. P.S. I'm Batpool
Wow.
Colossus looks like he should have in the X flicks.
This is Deadpool. I am legitimately hyped for a superhero movie for the first time since they announced Avengers and the thought of Thor vs Hulk hit the mainstream.
I say again. Wow.
@kevinwalsh: seems awfully trollish of you. Either that or you put too much thought into things you don't like. Either way carry on.
I don't think this film is going to make much money. What's the budget on this film? Anybody know? Probably 100 Million or less? Good for comic fans, but this isn't going to play at all to any sort of general audience. This movie will probably make less than Kingsman. We'll see though...
What makes you say that? Deadpool is pretty popular outside of comic fandom and the humour is similar in style to 21 Jump Street or The Hangover, which were popular and had pretty much the same age ratings.
I'm curious to know if Wade's girl, 'Vanessa' will be the Copycat/Vanessa Carlysle I know and love???
The Red Band trailer was awesome and hopefully this is what the movie will be like instead of the regular version unless they are releasing both a PG-13 and a R-rated movie. The GL jokes was smart and hilarious. I'm way more excited to watch this movie than Batman v. Superman. I can't wait, 2016 needs to hurry up.
