When his new ongoing series came out during Secret Invasion. I hadn't even heard of him before then.

My friend had a Marvel Legends action figure of him and i was like 'Wow that Spiderman looks weird." he was like 'That's Deadpool, not spider-man"
so..i thought he looked kind of cool so i went and bought some things with him in it.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance, then i started picking up Deadpool books, started liking him, and the rest, as they say is history.

Ultimate Alliance. All I had to do was play him once.

I actually have his first appearance, where the (then) New Mutants beat him & Cable FedEx'd him back to his boss. The design looked interesting so when I saw his first miniseries a few years later I collected it and I've been a fan of his ever since.

I used to collect superhero cards when I was like 12 then I saw a 'Deadpool' card, and I thought he looked pretty cool, and then I saw a Deadpool comic at the store a year later. From there on out I was all Deadpooled out.

It was either when my dad brought home the TBP of Civil War: X-Men and I read his Cable/Deadpool issues or Marvel: Ultimate Alliace. Needless to say, I found true love.

9(ish) years ago a local comic place was giving away boxes of some random comics for free comic book day and Deadpool #0 was the one I chose. It was different than any other book i read, it wasn't overly serious and it made me laugh,  (He called out The Ringer for being lame and page one Deadpool in a sombrero with bbq sauce and the person he was to kill tied upside down with his hungry dogs bellow)

Marvel Comics beat me over the head with him every Wednesday.

marvel ultimate alliance 2, after i heard him going on about the cherry blossom festival and of course after reading "wades guide to winning" i was hooked. plus the whole healing factor really appealed to me since i was an avid wolverine fan at the time.

met a cool guy at comic-con dressed like him. upon looking through a few comics, I realized that the guy was actually in the role of the character and realized that deadpool freakin' rules!

Though he appeared to be a lackluster version of himself in the latter half of the movie, Wade Wilson (played by Ryan Reynolds) was pretty good, enough to make me search his name on Wikipedia.
