    Surprise Hit

I have been reading Deadpool for a year now and have collected Ways entire run on the comic. I think most Deadpool fans will agree with me that we have had some real up's and downs with this run on the series. Now that Deadpool is about to be re-booted for Marvel Now! and how poorly the last arc was with it's pacing, I was not expecting too much to happen in these last two months. Boy was I wrong.

This issue was mind-blowingly good for Way, and I might say good compared to most other comics I have read in the past year. We had a real story line that was actually interesting to read. We get to see the background of Agent Kemp, who we have seen many times in the past, and how she received her injuries. Thought Deadpool himself was not in the issue for very long, his time is used well to balance the serious parts of the story and give him a little character development (something that doesn't seem to happen very much in Deadpool comics these days).

Though the cover is deceiving about the focus of the book, I was not disappointed with this pickup and I would suggest anyone who is thinking about starting to read Deadpool in the Marvel Now! reboot to pick this up if they want to see how a good issue of Deadpool is written.
