    The Final Battle 1

This has been a brilliant series, and one of my favourites since the start of Marvel NOW!, and it's also been one of the best Deadpool series I've read. It's ton's of fun, and has Deadpool at his witty best, with some good jokes (some not so good), and brilliant action, and Brian Posehn, Gerry Duggan, and Tony Moore have done an amazing job on this series.PlotThe final battle is about to commence, and Deadpool is set to take on the first president of the United States, George Washington, and fit...

    Washington Attacks Washington 0

Tony Moore's interior art is still incredible and a perfect fit for this series. The cover artist for this issue is completely different, but it's got the same kind of perfect comedic tone the other covers have had. This story's been a little monotonous at times, but always incredibly funny. But there's more to Deadpool than comedy. This jumping off of last issue's shock ending, this issue flexes Deadpool's "serious muscles" quite a bit, without losing a beat on the comedy, even perfecting the c...

    Deadpool 6 0

It all ends here! Deadpool vs. undead George Washington. The GoodThis Guy!This has been an incredibly fun first story arc for DEADPOOL'S new title. These last six issues have proven that Writers Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan work well with one another and know how to get the comedic side of Deadpool and the senseless violence that follows him, to mix. Multiple times throughout this series, and even in this issue, I've grinned and thought, "only Deadpool could say that..." or "only in a Deadpool c...

I'd Veto This Series If I Were You 0

As to be expected, the story arch ends just as poorly as it started. There are many attempts here to make us readers really feel emotionally for Deadpool as he faces his final challenge, but these are always debunked by another pop culture reference or joke. And the reveal at the very end, for me, is rather infuriating, as if the authors are trying to make up for lost time in a very short-sighted manner. It's a shame this series couldn't be better but, as it is, I can't say I'll be following th...

Loving this series, but who the hell is this mystery woman? 0

Can anyone clue me in on this? After Deadpool walks through the magical sphere, he drops dead but then a woman saves him and tells him she's someone who "loves him." Who the hell is she???Anyway, not sure why people seem to hate on this series so much. I think the first volume here doesn't show a lot of Deadpool's "other" side, but these first two volumes really just do a good job of showing the humorous and light side of the character. Volumes 3 & 4 do a great job of tapping into that more ...
