    1. The Fawn and the Star - (Fleisher, Ayers, Tanghal) Jonah Hex saves a fawn from becoming a settler's Christmas dinner, but only after vowing to find a replacement.
    2. Wanted: Santa Claus - Dead or Alive! - (O'Neil, Miller, Mitchell) Batman tracks a criminal working as a department store Santa Claus.
    3. The House of Mystery - (Rozakis, Tanghal, Adkins) Cain, the Three Witches, and Destiny all try to out do each other in a Christmas storytelling contest.
    4. The Longest Night! - (Kanigher, Ayers, Tanghal) Easy Company must take back the occupied town of Santa Maria before some Christmas worshipers get killed.
    5. Star Light, Star Bright... Farthest Star I See Tonight! - (Levitz, Garcia Lopez, Giordano) Superboy and The Legion of Super-Heroes go looking for the Star of Bethlehem.

    A Christmas anthology from DC ComicsThe Super Star Holiday Special was an interesting idea: feature some of DC's most popular characters in a single holiday-themed anthology. While the results are fairly average, it's worth a look for the unifying holiday theme. All the stories center around a star that appears on Christmas night; presumably the Star of Bethlehem from the Biblical tale about the birth of Jesus.The first story, and perhaps tied (with "The Longest Night" below) for best of the bun...
