    I don't have the gif rn because I'm on mobile but I believe that in BvS when he suddenly accelerated he created a sonic boom underwater which would require a speed of Mach 4.4 given sound travels much faster in water compared to air.

    Could someone please post the gif of him accelerating away? And please let me know if I said something incorrect.

    Didn't they (Aquaman and other atlantians) did something similar in the movie?

    Well, I remember the shockwave created when orm and arthur collided in the ring of fire. But he does replicate a sonicboom (plus a mach cone) at the end of the movie (time stamp 4:48).

    @heatforce: Yeah, that's it! And considering the location of Atlantis (the bottom of the ocean), mach 4.4 isn't unrealistic (it's basically 1.5 km/s).

    @ovy7:

    True. They move to the surface pretty quick something that wouldn't be possible if they're weren't moving very fast.
