It's a shame to see Affleck go, as he was my favorite live action Batman since Keaton (Bale is fine, I just don't have that strong of an opinion about his Batman). But I'm never going to demand that an actor stay in a role that they don't want to be in anymore so I still wish him the best in his future endeavors.

Only issue now is that this further screws up any future crossovers
I think people really overblow how confusing or messy it'll be. Not that I want to see Affleck or Cavil go but we've had actor replacements before, not just in superhero movies but other film series as well (the Bond series is the first that comes to mind). Heck, the Keaton, Kilmer, and Clooney Batman were all supposed to be the same Batman and they don't look a thing alike, but people still accepted it. As long as the world and most of the supporting cast around the character is still the same, people I think will be easily able to adjust to the fact that it's still supposed to be the same version of the character.
...Or maybe they'll just whine about it. Fans have a tendency to do that a lot too. I think the MCU has spoiled us all a bit and that people have trouble remembering that there was a time before when actors didn't typically sign on for 6+ movies as the same character. I'm still worried what happened to Adam West will happen to Chris Evens and Robert Downey Jr.
