I'm leaning towards Rip Hunter... he's from the future, quite a way in the future and uses a lot more of his brain than this time frames humans...

also he had the balls to go back in time and erase his own past while protecting himself from the time stream changes, so no enemies could use his past against him. that's damn smart for a hero.

also don't forget Johnny Chambers who not only created a full company from scratch (Quickstart Enterprises), which went on to become one of the biggest companies in the DCU before Luthor Corp bought it out by sabotaging it's products.

but he is also the only person in the entire DCU who managed to find, and decrypt from Ancient Egyptian a mathematical formula to access an extradimensional force and use it for his own ends...

we do know he's capable of sustaining and repairing 25th century technology... that alone shows he's smarter than a hell of a lot of people...

so Mr Terrific has no only mastered an miniature anti-gravity device and managed to give them motion in the air, but has fully applied to technology in several other appliances that he used.

if Batman or Luthor had that sort of smarts, they would have patented and used the technology years ago, but they haven't...

we know Batman still has no clue about Anti-gravity technology, because he still uses 'jet engines' on his plane and other equipment.

Luthor would probably find more nefarious purposes for the tech, but he hasn't, we know this as his battle suit still uses 'thruster' technology, not anti-grav.

as far as I know the one who repaires the tecnology of BG are Rip hunter and Skeets.

Damn, I neglected to read that part. But, later versions of Brainiac (such as Brainiac 5) are human, or at least humanoid (with green skin). A merging of organic and mechanic.

I can agree with that. Also Batman is the good guy, so of course he's going to foil the Riddler. But Nigma is obsessed with puzzles, and manipulation, realistically he could, and should of already devised a plan that even Batman couldn't stop.

What about Mr. Fantastic? That guy is pretty smart. An astronaut actually. All Edward Nigma did was create a wave to make everyone stupid and him smar... oh wait now I remember, a machine that robs the world of their knowledge and secrets and processes it to his brain. But lets not forget... Edward is INSANE! and things like INSANITY usually f*ck your thought processing up. So it's safe to say that Batman's straight thinking is what gets him powning Mr E Nigma everytime. HOWEVER, if you threw every single character into a highschool gym with an I.Q. test in front of them...
