Because of the death of the whole population of the Fourth World The Source has decided to fulfill the role of the old New gods by using individuals from the Third world.

Using DC characters fulfill the station of the old New gods.

I'll start it out with the New Orion:Lobo.

The main man is chosen for his incredible constitution and stellarly savage strength but also for his bloodlust and galactic tracking abilities.Which are very necessary in a good hunter which is where Orion derives his name from a greek mythological hunter.

Either Batman or Mr Terrific for the mantle of Mr Miracle.

Both are skilled escape artists, have contingency plans galore and approach things from an unorthodox yet elevated perspective.

Silver Surfer. Jack Kirby. The Marvel/DC thing doesn't matter.
