The article seems to believe he'll be the main antagonist for the batman solo flick. Maybe he'll be introduced in Justice League though briefly.

I really hope they do him well. Deathstroke has been one of my favourite characters for a while and it would be disappointing if they screw it up.

Deathstroke is an awesome villain, after this I got even more hyped for the new Batman solo film. Anyone who played Arkham Origins should still remember the amazing fight with him. Imagine it in a movie, how cool can that out to be.

Deathstroke jobbing to Batman in a solo movie?

If anything his own solo movie would be better.

He's a villain, he's going to lose, better than jobbing to Green Arrow.

Well Priest certainly doesn't and he's been pushing Slade as the Anti-Batman anyway. Besides he's a killer for hire fighting heroes or worse bad guys, that doesn't make him an anti-hero. He hasn't really fit the definition of that word since Identity Crisis.

@entropy_aegis: Bummer. I was looking forward to the book before. Oh well. And again, I'm gonna have to disagree. His last few appearances, he's saved Green Arrow and done what he's done almost exclusively to protect his children. That's an anti-hero. He only fought heroes when they got in his way, and often teamed up.

Heck, he's teamed up with Red Hood, Superman, and Wonder Woman, despite fighting them beforehand. He's about as much of an anti-hero as Punisher, really.
