    You cant go wrong with mixing DC Comics and the 1940s 0

    This seems like a great start to a series with a great premise. DC Comics Bombshells is set during World War 2 and will focus on the female characters. The first issue begins fantastically with Batwoman saving the Waynes from their future death and it only continues to be great. The comic focuses on the life of Batwoman as she is a baseball player, a crime fighter, and in a relationship with Maggie Sawyer. The art is sleek and helps create an ethereal feal to it.     The Black and white contrasted with batwoman's red is an amazing start to the issue. Panel after panel is great with modern art with and old fashioned feel. I wasn't expecting a lot from this issues/ series but the story is a wonderful start showing a tender relationship. I hope this series continues in this fashion. ...
