    History

The DCAMU was first introduced in the 2014 direct-to-video adpation of Justice League: Origin by Geoff Johns and Jim Lee. The film, entitled Justice League War, was directed by Jay Oliva, scripted by Heath Corson and has since spawned multiple sequels and spinoffs set in the same universe. The DCAMU was originally intended to be based on the New 52 relaunch of the DCU but has since dropped the concept and opted to follow it's own continuity/stories (as of Teen Titans: The Judas Contract).
