Born David Richard Jones, Bowie would form several band including the Konrads and the King Bees before releasing his first commercial flop titled "David Bowie" in 1967. Two years latter he would release his second album, the creatively titled "David Bowie", also a flop. In 1970 he release "The Man Who Sold the World" which promptly goes on to flop. I know what you're thinking "three strikes your out, right?", WRONG!!! Yet another flop in '71 title "Honky Dory". Then, finally, in 1972 Bowie release "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars" and it's nothing but hits from then on. Aladdin Sane, HIT! Pin Ups, HIT! Diamond Dogs, HIT! Young Americans was ok...JUST KIDDING, HIT!!!
