You can't have a Star Wars convention without Cosplay. I thought it would be all Stormtroopers and Jedi. I do have to say, seeing a bunch of Stormtroopers up close, I was impressed. Rather than take pics of every single regular Stormtrooper, even if they looked great, I was a little more selective. I tried getting shots of more non-typical costumes. The spirit and enthusiasm this whole weekend has been phenomenal. I can't explain how amazing it's been being surrounded by so many that are so enthusiastic about Star Wars.

Brilliant stuff!

I liked chibi-Fett and toddler-trooper, the chrome plated Storm Troopers, the parade of Mandalorians, and "festive" Chewie and Han.

Two were kind of creepy, though but for different reasons. The old guy who looked like a lot Alec Guinness and the Rancor guy with the man-boobs. Them's sum boobs.

I think what I liked most of all is how some chose to mash up franchises such as the Rocketeer-Fett and the above Frozen-Han/Slave-Leia. Japanese cosplay seems to focus more on accuracy to the source, but this certainly has greater creativity. Both approaches are worthy of praise.

@penguindust: I'm actually hoping to do a mash-up and cosplay as the Legion of Sith. The wrestling duo Hawk and Animal as sith lords some time later this year.

Fun Hammerhead and (as penguindust termed it nicely) "festive" Han/pink Chewie. But that Frozen thing---SO great.

@owie: I don't often chase after Cosplayers but I saw that Hammerhead (Ithorian) from across the floor and had to have a pic.

Great costumes, but I just have to say that I love girls in cosplay. I'm sorry, I just do.

Pink Chewbacca is priceless.

Bantha girl is ridiculous. Wonder how many people asked if they could take her for a ride.

Darth Bane is impressive, specifically that orbalisk helmet. If he didn't 3d-print it than he must have used a complex multi-part mold.

Thanks for pointing that guy out! I just skimmed over the thumbnail pics and almost missed it. That was an awesome costume.

Also the Chrometroopers were great.

But the overall favourite was the ZombieTrooper, that was an incredible costume!
