He is very slow because of his armor which doesn't really help. Maybe the armor is to intimidate people? Because if yes that's would be so stupid cause I laugh every time I see lolDarth Vader. He has crappy fighting skills and he's a rookie in the Force. Anyone with a brain could DESTROY lolDarth Vader but the reason it took 3 episodes to kill lolDarth Vader is because everyone in the Star Wars verse lost 40 IQ after episode 3. Discuss how bad Darth Vader is.

that is f***ing awesome.

i guess compared to the previous episode characters and the EU where everyone can bench press a planet with their minds and do back flips all day yes , vader is kinda a drawback , but after the extermination of all those jedi his competition was left to a 900 yro hermit with a speech problem , a 70 yro hermit who lived out in the desert , and a 18-20 yro who couldnt spell force let alone use it . also keep in mind you had guys with pointless helmets and bad aim shooting at a 7' cyborg with telekinesis and a sword that not only deflected their shots but can cut near almost anything , ignoring the EU for a bit , yes vader as the big bad cyborg wouldn't have survived episodes 1 and 2 . even one EU story had vader go up against 6-7 jedi no too many of them super powerful and even though he killed them he lost his saber arm and almost bit it.

so really he was scary in his time , not so much jedi history as a whole . that and the character was developed in the 70s all movie monsters were slow

Your gonna compare a guy filmed in the 80s wearing armor with little to no CGI to pretty boys that are CGI way too much and do fake back flips, because Vader is powerful in the books/comic.
