Hey guys i wanted to get your take on something. How cool would it be if they made a movie based solo on Maul? I don't know abot you but he's a cooler character then Vader. Too bad they killed him off in the fist movie. Your thoughts?

yeah, could be cool to learn about his history and how he was brought into the Sith

He is way cooler than Vader. Like not even in comparison. If they mae a solo movie, I would definitely see it.

If i had my way. I would make it R and make it really dark. I would also make a PG-13 version a little toned down but still dark.

yeah... make it as dark as you can...

any movie based on The Sith would have to be R rated

Yeah that would be sick. If i made the movie. The opening credits would be him getting those tattoos and his voice in the backround.

Eitherway, the training for the Sith and that scene where he faces Darth Sidious would be awesome.

And it he was born with then then i would do that instead. Say he was born into the darkside or something.

He was born that way. He's an Iridonian, like Bao Dur from KOTOR II, I think the skin coloration is either from being a different race of Iridonian (like black or asian for humans) or tattoos. I'm sure Wookieepedia knows for sure.

How dare any of you say he's better than Vader. Before the crappy prequels came out, he was a BAMF. The prequels just destroyed his integrity.

there was a comic about that. it was supposed to clear things up like a movie.

yeah. But they should make a movie. I mean that guy Doku or something was horrible.

A Darth Maul movie would be uberly cool. That scene where he fought against Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan was great. I just kept going to that part and watched it over and over.

Darth Maul was a Zabrak. The Zabrak species have horns like that. There was a few other Zabrak Jedi in the movies too including Eeth Koth (I think, it's been a while) who was on the Jedi Council in the new movies.

Darth Maul was also resurrected in the SW comics and fought against Darth Vader in Star Wars Tales #9. There's a novel called Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter that focus on him (set before Episode 1) and a few other comics with him in it.
